Hey, Fanwork! 👋 How’s everyone doing today?!
Winter is quickly approaching, and it’s getting so cold that my hands are freezing! Can you believe there’s not much time left in this year? With that in mind, what preparations are you all making for the new year?
Lately, I’ve been really into writing analog letters! 📬 Do you all like writing letters too?
If so, I have a fun place related to letters that I’d love to recommend! ✨ |
2, Seongsan-ro 20-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (right next to Seodaemun Post Office) |
The café LETTERS, located right in front of the Seodaemun Post Office, is a little different from other cafes! ✨ Nowadays, it’s so easy to send feelings online, but here, you can express your thoughts through handwritten letters! Each seat has a pen for writing, and you can purchase your favorite stationery or postcards to freely create your messages! 📝 Another special feature of this place is that you can send letters according to your chosen month! If you want to write a letter to your future self, you can select a month from the 12 boxes at the counter and drop your letter inside. They’ll send it out on the 1st of each month! 💌 While waiting for your coffee to arrive, take your time choosing your favorite stationery or postcard, and pour your heart into it with a pen you love. The subtle aroma of coffee wafting through the air will make it a perfect moment! ☕️💖 |

Have you all heard of the "Random Diversity" exhibition? 🎨 It’s a unique showcase where you can turn your favorite photos or emotions into colors, and this time, it’s back with a twist involving letters! This exhibition is especially exciting because it analyzes your birth date to provide insights into your fortune for 2024. After that, AI learns about your personality and preferences, allowing your future self to write you a reply! How cool is that? 😍 It’s a great opportunity to learn more about yourself in the process! If you’ve ever felt disappointed about not being able to receive replies when writing to your future self, why not take this chance to receive a special response? It’ll be a unique experience to have a conversation with your future self! 💫💌 |

The straight shelves are packed with postcards of different sizes, colors, and designs each telling a unique story. 🎵Apt~ Apt~ Apt~ Apt
BLACKPINK's Rosé and pop star Bruno Mars have teamed up for the hit song "Apartment (APT.)," which has topped the Billboard "Global 200" and "Global" (excluding the U.S.) charts for three consecutive weeks! ✨ The catchy melody and the harmony of their voices make it impossible not to hit replay, don't you think?
As a Korean university student, this apartment game is super familiar, so it’s both exciting and fascinating that this song has gained worldwide recognition because of it! 🤣 With K-pop artists and pop artists continuing to collaborate, why don’t we take a look at which artists have teamed up in the past? 👀 |

Cha Eunwoo X Peder Eilas - Hey Hello |
The meeting of two genius faces...! 🌟
"Hey Hello" is a song by Norwegian singer-songwriter Peder Elias and ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo, released in 2024. This song conveys the excitement of falling in love at first sight, telling us that any place becomes special when you're with that person. It’s well-known that both Peder Elias and Cha Eun-woo have soft, soothing voices, so I was really curious about how they would sound together. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they harmonize—beyond my expectations! 😍 Peder’s verse feels like a warm hug, as if you’re listening to it wrapped in a cozy blanket. And when Cha Eun-woo sings the first line of his verse, "Be my valentine," it feels like sweet chocolate melting in my ears! 🍫 The similarity in their vocal tones creates a beautiful harmony without any clash, which I think is the biggest strength of this song. I especially recommend listening to it while driving under a clear sky! 🚗☀️ |

Red Velvet X Ellie goulding - Close to me |
"Close to Me" is a collaboration between British pop star Ellie Goulding and Red Velvet. One reason I think collaborations are meaningful is that they allow us to hear various languages blending together in one piece of music. In that sense, having a version of "Close to Me" that includes Korean parts is a wonderful gift for fans who already loved the original! 🎁 Especially with Red Velvet, it’s well-known that each member has a beautiful vocal tone, both individually and as a group, right? Their group name perfectly reflects their charm: the rich, captivating tones (Red) combined with the cool, clear sounds like jade (Velvet) create an amazing synergy. The somewhat nostalgic and cool yet solid and deep tones fit this song perfectly! 💎 While writing this, I listened to various collaboration tracks, but this one is especially a recommendation for all the fans out there! 🎶💕 |
"Physical" is a collaboration between MAMAMOO's Hwasa and British pop star Dua Lipa. It’s a collaborative version that adds Hwasa's unique flair to Dua Lipa's original track. This song features a vibrant and intense synth-pop sound, characterized by energetic beats and a catchy rhythm! 💥 Hwasa's distinctive vocals blend beautifully with Dua Lipa's powerful voice, creating a unique chemistry that leaves a strong impression on listeners.
Did you know that Hwasa covered Dua Lipa's "New Rules" at MAMA 2019? At that time, I thought Dua Lipa's husky tone complemented Hwasa really well, so I’m thrilled to finally hear this full collaboration! 😍 This track is perfect for working out! While it might not have the brightest vibe, its intensity makes you want to keep moving without even realizing it! 💪 |

BLACKPINK X Selena Gomez - Ice Cream |
In just 3 hours, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez's collaboration track surpassed 10 million views! 🎉 As a world-renowned girl group, BLACKPINK has collaborated with various pop artists, and I think their collaboration with Selena Gomez is one of the most classic examples! Especially, the way they share the parts is just perfect🤩 The song has a sweet and cheerful vibe, with a bright, bubbly melody and addictive beat that makes it so appealing! 🍭 And this track is one that you can't just listen to; the vibrant, ice cream shop-inspired music video adds so much more charm to the song!🍦 You’ll also have fun seeing the various styling of the artists, so make sure to check out the music video too! 🎥💕 |
Collaborative tracks that blend various genres and styles offer audiences a unique musical experience. When artists with different charms come together, you can witness unexpected chemistry, and it’s such a joy to feel the music world expanding! 🌍 I hope to see more of these special collaborations in the future, bringing fresh energy and excitement. Let’s look forward to more K-pop collaboration songs that will give us new emotions and interests! 🔥💞 |

Hello everyone!✌️ My name is Maria, and I absolutely love all kinds of K-pop events. Pop-up store culture in Korea is incredibly developed.👍 These temporary shops open almost every day and can be dedicated to anything from a new series release to a new cosmetics line.
K-pop pop-ups are also common. They often coincide with the release of new albums, new merch, and so on. Today, we’ll dive into the atmosphere of a pop-up store celebrating the release of TXT’s new album - SANCTUARY🧚. The pop-up was located on the B2 floor of The Hyundai Department Store, a very popular spot for pop-up shops. It was a great decision to allow visitors to either pre-register on Naver or get a queue number on-site. I chose the first option and arrived at the store at my designated time. |
The theme of this comeback was angelic, so there were angel wings and white decor everywhere.🪽 In the pop-up itself, there weren’t any special activities besides the chance to get various photocards with merch purchases. The merch was adorable, and I couldn’t resist, so I ended up going home with a few keychains, a hoodie, and the album. |
Overall, the most desired merch from this pop-up was these cute plush keychains, and I couldn’t help but add one to my collection.🛍️ But if you didn’t get a chance to visit the pop-up store, there was no need to feel disappointed. There was also a cafe set up nearby, where you could go without a reservation. With the purchase of a drink and cookie set, you’d get a random coaster, though I couldn’t bring myself to actually use it. |
The outcome of these pop-up visits is always the same—you leave $100 poorer, but 10,000% happier!✨🫶 |
